How to Choose a Hydraulic Power Unit
When selecting a hydraulic power unit, consider the voltage, hydraulic function, required flow rate, maximum pressure, reservoir capacity and available installation space.
Voltage: HTX offers 12V and 24V DC configurations.
Action: Choose single acting when hydraulic power is required primarily in one direction. Double-acting units provide hydraulic power for both extension and retraction.
Reservoir capacity: Select a tank size that provides adequate hydraulic fluid capacity for the cylinder and application.
Flow and pressure: Verify the required GPM and pressure rating for the hydraulic system before selecting a power unit.
